Automated Free SSL Protection#

Hostinov provides free, automated Let's Encrypt SSL certificates for all domains and subdomains via cPanel AutoSSL.

Triggering AutoSSL Manually#

   In cPanel, open SSL/TLS Status under Security.

   Click Run AutoSSL at the top. The server verifies your domain via DCV and issues certificates within 1-2 minutes.

Forcing HTTPS Redirection via .htaccess#

Add this code at the top of your public_html/.htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
